Whether you’re a teacher, coach, tutor, community group leader, or anyone who works with youth, you have the chance to inspire and guide young people in expressing themselves, sharing their stories, and celebrating their unique talents.
As a teacher, coach, tutor, or community leader, you are instrumental in helping young people discover their creativity and voice. Now, you can inspire them to showcase their talents through the Youth Empowerment Book, launching on May 4, 2025. This book will celebrate the stories, artwork, and projects of youth in our community.
We’re excited to announce that the official call for submissions will be happening soon. In the meantime, we’ve put together some fun and inspiring activity pages that you can share with your youth groups to help spark their creativity and get them thinking about what they’d like to contribute!
Not every young person may have the resources or confidence to participate on their own, and that’s where you come in! If you know a youth who could benefit from a little extra guidance, we’re here to help. We have a team of dedicated volunteers across Ontario ready to offer mentorship and support.
Our goal is to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to participate and express themselves fully.
We understand that some youth may face challenges when it comes to participating in projects like this. That’s why we are committed to working collectively with teachers, coaches, tutors, mentors, and leaders to eliminate those barriers. Whether it’s providing resources, connecting youth with mentors, or finding creative ways to help them share their voice, we want to make sure that every young person has the opportunity to contribute.
We are actively encouraging groups, schools, youth organizations, and community groups to submit the projects or initiatives they are proud of.
Whether it’s a collaborative art piece, a social justice campaign, a volunteer effort, or even a sports-related project, we want to showcase the incredible work being done by young people in East Gwillimbury or Bradford West Gwillimbury.
